Dear Franco and Family,
My sister Lisa and I were saddened to learn of Christine’s passing. You may be aware that we lost our parents, Marion and Jules Bruno a few years ago. Our mother would speak of Christine with much fondness, from their days together at Montclair State, to their time together in Playcrafters and beyond. We were also in Playcrafters as teenagers and remember Chistine’s wonderful smile, although we called her Mrs. DiGangi then.
Our deepest condolences and prayers for you and your Family,
Karen Bruno Prescott and Lisa Bruno Franek
It was a privilege to know Christine. A cultured, empathetic and kind woman, she would attend the rehearsals of the Bloomfield Mandolin Orchestra every Tuesday evening with her beloved husband, Franco. While Franco played his mandolin, she would sit quietly and read her novels and listen to the music. We spent many years at concerts and social events in their company and have lived richer lives by having had them in our life.
Our heartfelt condolences and much love go to Franco and family.
